Play therapy is a suitable therapy method for children. It allows the therapist to explore the internal world of a child through play.
Adolescent Therapy
A variety of psychotherapeutic approaches and techniques are used with adolescents in order to assist adolescents who may be experiencing challenges with their emotions and/or behaviour.
Therapy for Young Adults
Psychotherapeutic approaches are used to assist young adults who may need psychological and emotional support.
Parental Counselling
Guidance is provided to parents to help equip parents with the necessary tools and support they may need in a non-judgmental manner.
Psychological Assessments
Psychological testing may be used in order to help understand an individual’s capabilities better as well as provides insight into a person’s current emotional status, behaviour and personality.
My Approach
I work from a combination of approaches which includes psychodynamic, systemic and cognitive behavioural techniques. The decision to use a specific approach is based on what would be most suitable for each individual client.

Introduction
I am an Educational Psychologist, registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Board of Health Care Funders (BHF). I hold a Bachelor of Education Degree, an Honours Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand.
I am also a qualified teacher, specialising in the Foundation Phase and taught for five years prior to becoming an Educational Psychologist.

I completed my internship as an Educational Psychologist at the Family Life Centre.

I am currently working in private practice.
